Routing

From Chace Audio

Routing refers to the act of directing an audio signal from one location or medium to another. This can be done internally, in a mixing console or DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) via buses, or physically, by connecting the output of one device to the input of another (often incorporating patch bays).
