Multi-track

1. The term “multi-track” refers to an audio recording that contains more than one track.

2. A multi-track is a device that allows the recording and/or playback of more than one audio track. A 2” tape machine is an example of an analog multi-track, and Pro Tools® is an example of digital multi-track device.

This analog 2" is an example of a physical multi-track tape/machine.
