Cross-fade
A cross-fade is used to blend one piece of audio into another. During a cross-fade, the volume of the tail of one piece of audio gradually decreases, while the volume of the start of the next piece of audio gradually increases.

Magneto Optical Disk
A magneto optical disk, or MOD, is a digital data storage medium. Like a hard drive, CD, DVD, and flash drive, it reads and writes digital data. MODs are removable media, separate from the drive mechanism, that are housed in a protective case.
